Pampas Hotel in Canela, Rio Grande do Sul

Considered a unique spot in the world, the Pampas  hotel welcomes its guests with rooms built inside old wine barrels that were used in wineries in the Serra Gaucha. With a capacity for 110 thousand liters, each ‘kettle’ was transformed into an individual lodge with three floors, where the furniture, floors and walls are made of wood extracted from pine and oak barrels. The wood still keeps its tartar crystals, known for the crystallization in wine barrels during the fermentation of stored products, enlightening the room with a slight aroma of wine that does not change the environment.
