Brasilia is not just the federal capital its a one of the country’s hub for sports, specially out-door ones. Skating, trekking, biking, flying, whatever the style there’s always someplace to go and someone to practise with.

At the Dom Bosco temple (Ermida Dom Bosco) – an isolated spot in the capital a part from the breathtaking view there’s always some outdoor action for the fun seaker. Downhill skating was top atraction at the Dom Bosco temple on the weekend (01,02 august) with the ‘Overmeeting’ competion on its 12 edition. The biggest skateboarding event in Brazil brought the traditional foodtruck scene in Brasilia along with cultural activities including local bands, games and recreation for the kids, bungee jump and wake board. The sunny days in the capital – typical of the winter season in mid-west Brazil – guaranteed over 40 thousand of visitors who packed the venue over the weekend. But the out-door activities dont stop there for the week. On 01/08 the Brazils biggest rally – Rally dos Sertões – commenced in the near by capital of Goiania – capital of the state of Goias. With over 03 thousand km and passing through 04 enormous brazilian states the raaly should end on saturday – 08/08 in the breathtaking scenario of the Iguazu Falls in the southern state of Parana.
